When my husband suggested that I write a Christmas song, I prayed that night, and the very next morning in the shower this song came to me like a flood with words and music. I quickly wrote them down and recorded the tune in my Zoom and then worked on putting it all together. We believe this song is meant for someone struggling this Christmas. Not everyone gets presents or Christmas trees, or even has family to celebrate with. What God wants you to know is that He has a gift for you of love, joy, peace and eternal life if you would reach out to Him this season and ask Him for help, he will meet you where you are at. Originally intended as a jazz styled song but my piano skills aren't that good, so instead recorded acoustic guitar, djembe, cylinder shaker, kalimba and harmonica.
