Today (6.26), Forrest Frank shares his newest single “Somebody Prayed” via River House Records. Featuring 14-year-old Christian artist Tate Butts, the track is an ode to his grandmother and her daily discipline that influenced Frank, who debut the track during his sold-out performance at GEODIS Park in Nashville last Friday. After sharing the powerful testimony of his “prayer warrior” grandmother, he then invited Butts, a rising artist recognizable from his viral performance with Brandon Lake, on stage to perform the unreleased song to the crowd of 25,000 fans.
“Somebody Prayed” is Frank’s fifth single release in just over a month, all written while on a sold-out stadium and arena tour. His recent releases also include:
- Last week’s single “The Truth Will Set You Free,” a modern retelling of Christ’s mission.
- “The Jesus Generation,” a commentary on the nationwide Christian revival and title of his headline tour.
- “Jesus is Alive,” earning Forrest’s second Billboard No. 1 on Hot Christian Songs, and “Jesus is Alive! Vol 1,” the 20-track collaboration collection.
- “OKAY,” a song on gratitude that has amassed more than 1M global streams.
Frank is currently making history on The Jesus Generation Tour, proving “that worship can fill more than church sanctuaries” (Crosswalk) with stadium and arena performances in major cities nationwide. The Jesus Generation Tour is his largest headlining tour to date, following his sold-out Child of God Tour Part 2. See the list of upcoming tour dates below.
Faith is the foundation of Frank's career – anchored in his identity as a husband, father, friend, son, and man of God. He has 4.2B global catalog streams to date, and has been recognized with five DOVE Awards, three GRAMMY Award nominations, and has earned the most Billboard Hot Christian Songs entries of any artist with 40 total and 12 Top 10 hits.
