Filming the abortion scene was definitely not one of the easiest days of production, due to the obvious nature of the scene. Production design had create a lot of fake blood and body parts. The filming lasted about 6 hours, with Amanda Lopez (lead actress) sitting on an operation table with legs in the stirrups and a plate of fake bloody body parts underneath her.

We filmed the baptism scene at one of the most beautiful churches in Chicago, St. Mary of the Angels. The Letter scene was filmed in the school basement, after we loaded the whole place with a ton of smoke.
