Three years ago, this mother was told to abort her baby because its kidneys had not developed and the baby would not live. The mother refused the abortion and believed God for a miracle. She received prayer from Australian Evangelist John Mellor and the next scan amazed the doctors. The baby was born with normal kidneys and she is now 3 years old. This is from a talk I gave to my Church's Tuesday night prayer group. The topic was Self-Control or as it it sometimes referred to in sacred scripture Temperance. Temperance is one of the 9 fruits of the Holy Spirit. In the past few years I have lost over 300 pounds. The date of this recording marked a year of sobriety for me too. In the past year I have also quit smoking (a pack and a half a day) and stopped drinking coffee (about 80 ounces a day). Somehow, and I don't know how, I've become the poster boy for Self-Control. Along with the topic of self-control I also give my personal testimony. I apologize for the poor audio quality.

Jan 20 2010 Pastor Len Parsons is praying for the service when the Spirit of God moved on him to pray the prophetic prayer over Haiti ! , that the wind of God's Spirit would blow in their ears and they would respond ! ... that God would use Haiti as a sping board or launch pad to reach the world !! that instead of being place people go to share Jesus ... they would become missionaries !

Pastor len speaks of the difference between Faith and Fate ... fatalism .. disguised as Faith ! (If it will it will if it wont it wont) The Fates ( godess'of Greek mythology )are alive in the beliefs of people today , keeping people from seeing the Reason to Pray and overcome ,

So many Times we are waiting on God or Somebody to do something ,when it is our part ...our job to ask God for ourself ....and let Our God respond to our prayer .. building our faith in Him and not in a person praying for ( or in agreement ... with us ..God wants you to ask that your joy may be full !!
