Lightning Ahlers was born during a horrid 14 year civil war in Liberia, West Africa. He was only a toddler when his mother left him and his 3 older siblings in the care a make shift orphanage. He was raised in orphanages the rest of his life till miraculously he and his older sister and 3 others were adopted together in 2006. He was then 14 and his sister was 17. Lightning lives in Louisville Ky. with his adopted family and now has 12 siblings. He recently got engaged to his sweetheart Deborah from St. Louis, who also lived in Liberia during the war and was adopted from the same orphanage he was from. GOD IS SO GOOD!!!!!!

At the age of 8, Jennifer Schuett was kidnapped, raped, and left to die. Miraculously she survived, however doctors told her that she would be unable to conceive any children naturally after the attack.
