An Introduction to the Doctrine of the Trinity

II Chronicles 7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

This is the second message from Psalm 91. This message is based on Psalm 91:9-16 on how to deal with fear.
Even as a believer, there will be times in your life when you have to deal with certain kinds of fear, hence we must learn what to do and how to protect ourselves from fear when it strikes us.

This is a sermon I was able to share at my church around Father’s Day. I call it The Prodigal Father, after the Prodigal Son, from Jesus’ teaching. It is about letting bad dads come back and be restored. We need man being good fathers in this world. We need to show others the forgiveness we would want ourselves. It was intense to write this, and the speak it, and I think it’s pretty intense to listen to. May God’s Word reach into your heart.

What does it mean to say that Jesus is the "only begotten" of the Father, or that he is the "firstborn of creation?" That language has been used by some to deny the deity of Christ and assert that he was merely a man or at best the first angel (Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Arianism). Further, why was Jesus baptized by John in the Jordan River? If he was sinless, why did he need to be baptized? Pastor MacLaren addresses these questions in this latest video based on Dr. R. C.
