3-6-16 MESSAGE: "Not Like Them"

Christians have been called by God to live lives separate and different from the world. So why do so many Christians today want what the world has? Why do so many believers strive to be like the world? We are called to be "not like them!"

Pastor Bishop Helsley
1 John 4:1-6

Summary: John wrote to the church about battling against false doctrines and false teachers. In 1 John, he warns them to test what they are told, and not to just accept it at face value. In today's culture, it is still important for Christians to test what they are told against scripture and the Gospel. As we look at what John wrote, we will examine the importance of evaluation and assessment within the Church.
