Peace to everyone, How many times have we heard someone say, “God doesn’t care about my problems,” or, “Why does God allow bad things to happen to good people?” I’ve even heard some people say that God is merely a human construct to offer people hope this side of the grave; where is the proof? In today’s Gospel, Jesus reminds us that the Holy Spirit, God Himself, lives in each Baptized person, guiding us to all Truth. And we might wonder, “Exactly how does the Holy Spirit operate in my daily life?” In today’s message, I share two true stories about how the Holy Spirit directly impacted the lives of two people, reminding them that God is real and present to help them in their life’s struggles. May their stories help us to recognize the power of God’s presence in our lives too.

Peace to everyone, Most of us have experienced special moments that become etched into our minds and hearts. It may be the birth of a child, our first day in school, graduation day, a wedding, or when we said good-bye to a beloved member of our family. Whatever the moment, it is both sacred and precious, that as the years pass, is still fresh in our minds and hearts. In today’s Gospel, we are invited to join the sacred moment when Jesus and His disciples spent their last minutes together just before He would suffer His Passion and Crucifixion. It is a moment when Jesus challenges each of us, along with His disciples, to “Love One Another.” In this message, I share a true story about how one woman, courageously answered that call. May her story encourage all of us to Love without counting the cost. May this Easter Season continue to be nourish our faith as we all make our way toward Pentecost.
