Peace to everyone,
How many times have we witnessed someone make a life choice that runs them off the road into the proverbial ditch? The “Woman at the Well” is a compelling Gospel example about how one woman’s life choices shunned her from the community.
Looking back over our lives, I’m sure that we’ve all made choices where we would rather hit the “reset” button and choose a different direction in our lives.

In this message, I invite you to listen to a TRUE STORY about how a dog helped one woman overcome bitterness and embrace the love of Jesus in her life.

It is a modern day story about “The Hound of Heaven” – that is to say, God never gives up on us even when we want to give up on God.

I've already told my story on why I attend SL church. I don't pay attention to what the preacher or the congregation does on their free time, it ain't my business. What I do care about is the message. God has many ways to speak to you, and he uses many vessels, they aren't all perfect and I feel that's because his intent is to get your attention so you can receive the message. Too often we pay attention to the vessel and miss the message. God will send his message through tragedy, triumph, people with great behavior, people with questionable behavior, a feeling, a song, anything.

So this is for Y'all that keep saying y'all want to come to church with me here is the info, you aren't pressured to show up, I won't look at you differently if you don't come, just putting the information out there.

Judah's two oldest sons were wicked and God killed them both before they were able to have any children. Jacob didn't hide that Joseph was his favorite son. This made the rest of his sons very jealous. Then Joseph had 2 dreams that insinuated that he would one day rule over them all. 3  Now therefore go to, proclaim in the ears of the people, saying, Whosoever is fearful and afraid, let him return and depart early from mount Gilead. And there returned of the people twenty and two thousand; and there remained ten thousand. 
4  And the LORD said unto Gideon, The people are yet too many; bring them down unto the water, and I will try them for thee there: and it shall be, that of whom I say unto thee, This shall go with thee, the same shall go with thee; and of whomsoever I say unto thee, This shall not go with thee, the same shall not go. 
5  So he brought down the people unto the water: and the LORD said unto Gideon, Every one that lappeth of the water with his tongue, as a dog lappeth, him shalt thou set by himself; likewise every one that boweth down upon his knees to drink. 
6  And the number of them that lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, were three hundred men: but all the rest of the people bowed down upon their knees to drink water.
