Musician's Powerful Message about Trusting God and Remembering Our Blessings

One musician, Emily Ann Roberts, shared a powerful message about trusting and having faith in God and remembering and counting how He has blessed our lives. Her moving words are a terrific reminder to lean not on our power and understanding but instead to place our faith and trust in Him. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear her words and message that likely hit close to home for many.

The world is way too often a sad, cold and cruel place. Nearly everywhere we look, we are reminded of this fact. Turn on any evening news broadcast or log onto social media, and you’ll see a hundred different ways how this is true. Dwelling and continually thinking and worrying about the lost and hopeless state of the world is enough to drive the sanest, most stable person crazy.

Worrying about things out of our control is not the answer. In Luke, Jesus says exactly this when he mentions that worry will not add a single hour to your life. Instead, cast your cares and concerns about Him, which was precisely what Emily said in a clip posted on YouTube.

“I could wake up this morning and focus on all the things I wish I was doing instead of the things I get to do and the blessings that God has given me,” she said while picking green beans. “And if I focused on all that for too long, then I’d probably be in a bad mood, I’d be ungrateful and I’d miss the blessings right in front of me, like these green beans right here.”

Later in the clip, Emily mentioned how she used to be ridden with anxiety, which kept her from enjoying and appreciating much. She said a passage of Scripture she came across changed everything.

“And there was a passage of Scripture that I came across that really changed my life forever, and the peace of God and His word changed my life forever,” she said. “The verse is so simple. It says, ‘Don’t worry about anything, but instead pray about everything.’ Tell God what you need, thank Him for all He has done, and then you’ll experience God’s peace.”

Philippians 4:6 “In nothing be anxious; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.”

Granger Smith Shares Powerful Truths About Christ’s Place in Our Lives

Granger Smith shares some powerful truths about Christ’s place in our lives. The former country singer shared a moving message that everyone needs to hear and apply to their lives. Watch the short but moving clip to hear Granger’s words about Jesus Christ and about the position He should be in our lives.

Life is not always a fun, joyous and easy-going experience. Yes, there will be instances, circumstances and reasons worth celebrating, but there will also be times when there is hurt and heartbreak. Absolutely no one likes going through trials and struggles. Pain is unpleasant, and we want it to end as quickly as possible.

People will also encounter situations that make them uncomfortable. Some might even argue that feeling ill at ease and dealing with uneasiness is worse than experiencing pain. One reason someone may feel this way is because of conviction and the work of the Holy Spirit. In a clip posted on YouTube, Granger shared a powerful message that is likely to convict many who hear his words.

In the video, Granger recalled an interaction with an individual during which the man joked about “everyone needing a little Jesus.”  The man’s awkward and strange comment about Jesus Christ immediately put off Granger and didn't sit right with him.

“I nodded politely, but inside, something twisted,” he said. “A little Jesus? It says so much about what we have reduced him to in this society.”

According to Granger, far too many people have reduced the Savior of the world to a good luck charm, almost like a rabbit’s foot or something else individuals hold onto for superstitious reasons.

“He is not a trinket,” Granger said. “He is the judge of the living and the dead. And He comes into our lives, not just to round it out. He comes to take it over. The real Jesus is no figurine. He is not a part of your life. He is your life, or He is nothing at all.”

John 14:6 “Jesus said to him, ‘I am the true and the living way: no one comes to the Father but by me.’”

Tim Tebow on Why Every Believer Needs a Strong Spiritual Community

Tim Tebow shared why every believer needs a strong spiritual community. The former Heisman Trophy winner pointed out why belonging to and being plugged into a faith community is vitally important. Watch the short but powerful clip where Tim shares why this is a must for every follower of Jesus Christ.

The world is not always a friendly, welcoming, and uplifting place. Life frequently puts you through situations that leave you battered and bruised, hurting and downright discouraged. These trials and hardships can be agonizing and gut-wrenching, but some people will try to do it independently, completely, without anyone by their side.

When we endure trials and testing alone, the enemy attacks. Thoughts and feelings of worthlessness and depression start to creep into our minds. We’re suddenly reminded of past stumbles and failures. In a clip posted on YouTube, Tim shares why Christians need to belong to a strong community of other believers.

“The enemy says you’re alone, but God says I will never leave you and forsake you,” Tim said. “And so, that’s why it’s so important to have a renewing of your mind in God’s word, in Scripture, in prayer, and with other people around you because when we get isolated, when we get alone, all of those voices from the enemy start to leak in and they start to creep and they start to say and they start to point out all of those flaws.”

However, people were not meant to do life alone. We were made for relationships—to encourage and uplift one another.

Later in the clip, Tim adds that while we may have scars from what we’ve suffered in the past, God says that does not define us.

“You have to get back to Scripture because God’s saying, ‘No, no, no, no. You’re missing the mark because you’re missing the point. Yes, you have scars, and you have flaws, but you’re not defined by your scars. You’re defined by mine.”

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their work. And if one has a fall, the other will give him a hand; but unhappy is the man who is by himself, because he has no helper.”

Community Comes Together to Support 80-Year-Old Man Still Working to Pay Medical Bills

A community has come together to support an 80-year-old man still working to pay medical bills. The elderly gentleman continues to go to work because of a promise he made to his late wife. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear what the community did and why the man continues to work even though he’s past the age when most people retire.

Retirement is a lifelong goal for most people. That time when someone can kick back and relax and not have to worry about going to a 9-to-5 is a period many people dream about. When someone reaches the point where they no longer have to work, it is no wonder that they are often said to be in their “golden years.”

Sadly, though, not everyone can afford to retire. For one reason or another, a lot of people have to continue working even at an advanced age. However, someone in their 80s or 90s shouldn’t have to work. We were created for more than simply working until we drop dead. That’s exactly what one woman thought when she saw Gary Saling bagging groceries, and she decided to do something.

In a clip posted on YouTube, Gary explains that his wife Carol developed and later died from a form of dementia. However, he explains that he made a promise to her when she was sick: he would not put her in a nursing home but would instead keep her at their home. He turned to bagging groceries to help pay off the thousands in medical bills owed.

Duana Johnson saw the kind and gentle elderly man working at the supermarket and decided to do something.

“I saw Gary bagging groceries, and I thought, ‘What’s this guy? Why’s this elderly man still here?’” she asked.

The woman who is the head of a ministry in her Utah town started a donation account at a bank on behalf of Gary.

“So, we started a fundraiser, and people have been messaging saying that they, they see him all the time,” she said. “And they really love him. He’s always nice. He’s always kind. He’s always, like, you know, greeting them and smiling.”

Philippians 2:4 “Not looking every to his private good, but keep in mind the things of others.”

Close to 2,000 Believers Baptized in Powerful Display of Commitment to Christ

Nearly 2,000 people were baptized in a powerful display of their commitment to Christ. All who participated in the moving, massive baptismal service signaled their decision to forsake their old ways and follow Jesus Christ. Watch the short but tear-jerking and powerful clip to see thousands receive baptism and make a decision for Christ.

None of us would have a chance if not for the love, mercy and grace of Jesus Christ. Without those life-changing gifts, we’d all still be lost, living in sin and shame. We’d all be staring down an eternity of being lost and forever separated from Him once our days on Earth come to an end.

However, we now have hope and a future due to Christ’s never-ending and inexplicable love for us. Love, forgiveness, grace and hope are freely offered and given to all who turn to Him and ask for His forgiveness. He is faithful and quick to do so, cleansing the heart and providing a peace that surpasses all understanding and knowledge.

A clip posted on YouTube shows approximately 2,000 people who have made a decision for Christ, asked for His forgiveness and chosen to follow Him. In an outward display of their commitment and to demonstrate what has already occurred in their hearts, they were baptized in the Atlantic Ocean.

The powerful service took place in Jacksonville, Florida, and was put on by The Church Eleven22. In total, more than 11,00 people were in attendance.

The church’s pastor, Joby Martin, explained the importance of baptism and why the massive beach service was a reason to become excited and celebrate with those who have made a commitment to Jesus Christ.

“Baptism is a public declaration that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior,” he said. “And it’s not the water that baptizes you; it’s that relationship that you have with Christ, through the Gospel of Jesus. And so, this is just an opportunity for us to celebrate these people whose sins have been washed away, and they’ve been resurrected to a newness of life.”

Acts 2:38 “And Peter said, ‘Let your hearts be changed, every one of you, have baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will have the Holy Spirit given to you.’”

We Are Messengers’ Frontman Shares Encouraging Message About Life’s Tough Seasons

The frontman for We Are Messengers shared a powerful message about navigating life’s tough seasons. His uplifting and encouraging words are for anyone going through a challenging situation who feels like it will never end. Watch the short but passionate and compelling clip to hear what he had to say.

Sadly, in life, we will all experience unpleasant and trying situations. If, for some reason, you thought life was nothing but roses and rainbows, and everything would always be perfect, you were severely mistaken. Hardships and trials are unavoidable. They have a way of finding all of us at one time or another.

Some situations can become so painful and go on for so long that we’ll start to wonder if they will ever end. While it may not feel like it at the time, those horrible situations and circumstances will not last forever. God is still in control, on the throne and is working everything out in His time. That was the message Darren Mulligan shared with the crowd in a video posted on YouTube.

In the clip, Darren reminds people that Jesus Christ is still at work even during those challenging situations.

“You got to remember that Jesus is in all of it, working all things together for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purposes,” he said. “That’s why seasons matter.”

Later in the clip, Darren mentioned how the words we often use to express our current state and season of life are usually wrong, indicating that our present season is permanent. He adds that difficult situations will not last forever, even though, at the time, they feel like they will never cease.

“Do not identify yourself with the season you’re in,” he said. “All these things are temporary. They’re passing away. Remember that God is making all things new and all things well.”

Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose.”

Courageous Teens Rescue Family from Burning House

A group of courageous teenagers helped rescue a family from a burning house. The four teenagers were driving by when they spotted the engulfed structure and leaped into action. Watch the short but powerful clip to hear about the quick-thinking, heroic and life-saving actions of the band of youngsters.

Professional athletes and those who appear on television or on the big screen and recite lines written by someone else are not heroes. Nor will you find any heroic individuals occupying the halls of Congress or the Oval Office. Primarily, those people act out of selfish ambition and are motivated by fame and glory. Of course, we all know that true, genuine heroes act selflessly and for the good of others.

A clip posted on YouTube tells of the heroic deeds of a group of high school students. The four high school juniors were on their way home from prom. They happened to be driving by when they spotted the frightening scene: an entire house engulfed in flames. Instead of simply driving by, they stopped and offered their much-needed and life-saving assistance.

One teenager immediately dialed 911 to alert first responders of the emergency, while another approached the residence, started pounding on the door and implored the family to evacuate the structure. The clip mentions that one young man helped to safely guide the family’s children to the other side of the street, away from the fire.

Thankfully, no one was injured, and everyone got out of the house safely. Later, the local fire department confirmed what everyone already knew: that those four teenagers were heroes, and their actions helped save that family.

But there is more to the story, and it shows how God puts the right people in the right place at the right time. The video points out that the father of one of the young men who assisted in the heroic rescue is a police officer and has also been an EMS first responder.

Philippians 2:4 “Not looking everyone to his private good but keeping in mind the things of others.”

Blake Shelton Shares How Gwen Stefani Has Helped Strengthen His Faith

Blake Shelton has shared how Gwen Stefani has helped strengthen his faith. In an interview, the country music star mentioned how his faith has grown recently and the role his wife and fellow musician, Gwen, has played in that.

Hollywood is typically not a place where faith is openly discussed or shared. For the most part, entertainers are usually tight-lipped regarding matters of faith. If they do share their thoughts and opinions on faith and religion, it’s usually to denigrate or put down those who do have faith and believe in God.

However, during a recent interview with singer-songwriter Kelleleigh Bannen, the host of the Kelleliegh Bannen Show, the topic of faith came up during a conversation with Blake Shelton. She asked the former The Voice judge if he has experienced any change in his faith, given his age, his mid-40s.

Blake was quick to respond, saying that it has grown considerably as of late. He was also quick to say that he credits his growth in his faith to one person: his wife, Gwen Stefani.

“Yeah, I would say that, and that comes from Gwen’s influence, you know?” Blake said. “Gwen in, you know, I’ve learned so much from her and she’s really the person that’s helped me kind of, you know, of get in touch with my faith, and gets serious about it, it’s not just something that you say at an awards show.”

Later in the clip, he mentioned how Gwen has pushed him to constantly think about and consider his faith. He said that she always sees the hand of God in everything around her.

“And it’s really special to be around her because it’s, her faith is alive, and it’s incredible to be around her,” he said. “And she’s so happy about it, and she loves to share it to anybody that’ll listen, and it’s inspiring to be around her.”

1 Peter 2:21 “This is God’s purpose for you: because Jesus himself underwent punishment for you, giving you an example, so that you might go in his footsteps.”
