When I was in the world, I wondered why so many professing christians acted like they did. When I started studying Holy Scripture, I understood. They serve a different God then what Scripture defines.

Prayer should be a time of rejoicing that we have a God who is powerful and capable and that He actually WANTS us to bring Him our cares and concerns. I'm not saying you have to be calm when you pray. I'm encouraging you to analyze the attitude you have when you pray. Is it an attitude of worry, anxiety, or fear? Or is it an attitude of trust? Don't be a prayer worrier, be a prayer warrior!

What the Bible says about the way we view ourselves has very little to do with how good WE are, or how much WE have accomplished. It has much more to do with God... so you could say we don't have a self esteem problem, we have a God esteem problem - we don't esteem God enough!

Do you do the same thing when it comes to communicating about things that really matter, things that are awkward, or things that you really don't want to face? James 1:1-6

(1) James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. (2) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; (3) Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. (4) But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. (5) If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. (6) But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
