Romans 8:29–9:8

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate [to be] conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. 30 Moreover whom he did pedestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. 31 What shall we then say to these things? If God [be] for us, who [can be] against us? 32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? 33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? [It is] God that justifieth. 34 Who [is] he that condemneth? [It is] Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

Proverbs 5. (The Lips of a Seductive Woman)

Tempted to cheat on your spouse? Pondering an affair? Or, perhaps you are already having an affair. Rest assured, difficult times and days are surely ahead, unless you repent. The sooner the better. The earlier, the better. If you are in the pondering stage of infidelity, please take this video to heart. Take your eyes off of others, (both the opposite sex, and those you 'assume' are doing just fine despite being unfaithful) and turn to God as you are. Turn back to the wife or husband you are married to. Do everything that is within you, and on your side of the relationship, to make your marriage work. Fight for it, with everything that you possess. Turn fully to Jesus and confess your sin to Him. If you travel down this extremely painful road of adultery, when it is all said and done, you will groan at the last, and wish sincerely you would have listened to your own conscience, as well as any and all your teachers.

In very short, get this area of life correct (sex life/marriage etc etc etc) and you will be blessed all over. Get this area wrong, be assured, reality pledges it, you are going to hurt all over.

May this reading bless you above measure!

Responses to Objections to Male Headship in Marriage

There’s no serious doubt that the Bible teaches the husband’s headship over his wife. In fact many people who deny it will openly admit that they do not accept the authority of scripture. However, since many others do claim scriptural reasons for ignoring the husband’s authority, I put together this essay to show their major claims to be false. I hope you are blessed by this piece, as well as by a beautiful marriage modeled on Messiah and His Bride.

Is God Big on Tests

You deal with them all the time, and so does God. You have your favorites and so does God. You have ones you don't want to deal with and so does God. Tests; we deal with them and God does too

LASTing Peace, Why Recovery Won't Stick

I've been in the business of people watching. Lately, as I have scurried about, taking care of health problems, going to hospitals, doctors, and other places in between, I have taken note of people's expressions and their comments to me. I'm struck that almost everyone I ran into agreed on one thing; they would just like to have a little more peace in their lives.

We all seek a place of peace within ourselves, as we go about our lives, struggling with life's demands. But, confusion and fatigue appeared to rule in the lives of most people I met, and they had very little hope of finding peace. What rules our hearts determines whether we have peace. The war that rages there causes us to be unsettled, wondering where to find peace amidst the warring of our souls. How do we find peace in the middle of the war going on there?

Colossians 3:15-16 says, "And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom he gives. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts."

People long for their souls to be at rest. Having peace in one's heart is a wonderful gift from God that all Christians have an opportunity to enjoy. The same God who had the power to save us, also has the power to give us rest if only we would, "let the peace of God rule in our hearts.” Why

Romans 8:12-19

12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13 For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with [him], that we may be also glorified together. 18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time [are] not worthy [to be compared] with the glory which shall be revealed in us. 19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.

Mark of the Beast, RFID Chip?

Rev CH 13 V 16 & 17, 16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, 17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.

Psalm 62:5-12 - God, Our Rock, Our Fortress, Our Steadfast Love

Psalm 62:5-12New Revised Standard Version, Anglicised (NRSVA)

5 For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him.
6 He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
7 On God rests my deliverance and my honour;
my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.
8 Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us.Selah
9 Those of low estate are but a breath,
those of high estate are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
they are together lighter than a breath.
10 Put no confidence in extortion,
and set no vain hopes on robbery;
if riches increase, do not set your heart on them.
11 Once God has spoken;
twice have I heard this:
that power belongs to God,
12 and steadfast love belongs to you, O Lord.
For you repay to all
according to their work.
